For the first time in their history, the Kenosha Kingfish will host the 2016 Northwoods League All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 19.
On the day before, Monday, July 18, the Kingfish will host a one of a kind, unique baseball event the day -- the Northwoods League Home Run Derby at the Harbor, featuring the top NWL sluggers launching baseballs into Lake Michigan. The event will take place near the intersection of 52nd Street and 6th Avenue in Downtown Kenosha. From the pier extending out into the harbor, NWL All-Stars will be partaking in a baseball first as they participate in a home run derby on water. A buoy line replicating the field dimensions of historic Simmons Field will be placed over the water to define a home run boundary.
Fans are invited to enjoy food, beverage, live music, fireworks and kids games on land bordering the harbor for a ticketed event. Gates for the Home Run Derby at the Harbor will open at 5:30pm with the derby beginning at 7:30pm
