For the sixth year in a row, Kenosha will light up the Downtown during the annual Lightin’ Up! Downtown3 event!

Lightin’ Up will be held on Friday, November 24 - the day after Thanksgiving. The event kicks off at 4:00 PM with holiday music and visits with the Snow Princess and the Ice Queen at Fountain Plaza just west of the Kenosha Public Museum. Santa Claus will make an appearance alongside Mayor John Antaramian for the lighting of the City of Kenosha’s Christmas tree promptly at 5:00 PM.

Kenosha is lucky enough to have a long-distance race in its own backyard; on Saturday, May 6, the Wisconsin Marathon threads its way through downtown, north to Carthage, south to Carol Beach and back north again to finish along the lake. The race continues to grow each year, as more and more runners are drawn to the breezy lakefront course, beautiful scenery and post-race beer and brats! The race course showcases all that Kenosha has to offer.
